Golf Shafts America was established in January 2011 as a subsidairy of our company Golf Shafts Asia www.golfshaftsasia.com
Tony Huxtable has worked successfully with Tom Massengill for the last 3 years building Golf Shafts Asia into one of the largest International Distributors of High End Golf Shafts, currently supplying to over 200 trade dealers. During this period we started receiving multiple enquiries from the United States
which was our inspiration to set up Golf Shafts America.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Tom Massengill started his professional career as a High School educator teaching Business Education and Physical Education, with coaching various sports as part of the work responsibility. He taught for four (4) years and then proceeded to the Business profession in Management /Accounting ,with investments as part of his specialty.. while continuing with coaching.
His professional career in the business world included work places in America as well as Southeast Asia. During this time in Southeast Asia ( 1992 - 2003) he began to learn the art of clubfitting for golfers. Having his Clubfitter certification from Golfsmith Inc. with continued education at other professional company forums. When his employment in Southeast Asia was finished he returned to America for retirement. However, various golf professionals in Thailand asked him to consider a golf clubfitting shop in Bangkok, Thailand and from that request he opened a golf shop called GMT Clubmakers Deluxe. The golf shop served as a specialty for club fitting with high end equipment, and served all golfers with a major emphasis for fitting high handicap and junior golfers.
During this time he became acquainted with Mr. Tony Huxtable, as GMT Clubmakers Deluxe purchased golfshafts from his company Golf Shafts Asia. After GMT Clubmakers Deluxe was closed, due to political unrest, Tony asked Tom if he would become a part of Golf Shafts Asia in Thailand as well as other international countries. During the past 3 years he has assisted Golf Shafts Asia as a consultant, and is now forming the company Golf Shafts America with Mr. Huxtable as a subsidiary with Golf Shafts Asia.
The goal of Golf Shafts America LLC, is to provide quality service with technical expertise.
